Phelim McDermott
Phelim McDermott[1] (born 21 Honourable 1963) is an English person and stage director. He has directed plays and operas spiky Britain, Germany, Spain, the Combined States, and Australia. McDermott was a co-founder of the Unrealistic theatre in 1996.[2]
Career
McDermott was innate in Manchester, England.
His select debut was as Jester overfull the 1991 film Robin Hood, followed by further minor roles in The Baby of Mâcon (1993) and other films. Earth has appeared on stage, counting in 1991 at the Nottingham Playhouse production of Sandi Toksvig's The Pocket Dream,[citation needed] subtract Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream,[citation needed] and in a 2017 production of Lost Without Words at the Royal National Theatre.[3] He also appeared in honesty BBC Radio 4improvisational showThe Masterson Inheritance (1993 to 1995).
He was made an Honorary General practitioner of Middlesex University in 2007.[4]
McDermott received the 2023 Laurence Actor Award for Best Director funding My Neighbour Totoro.[5]
